Swetha Motor Sailer

Archipelago Cruises

Explore Vaasa's UNESCO World Heritage Archipelago

Welcome Aboard

The Vaasa Archipelago is one of Finland's most spectacular natural treasures, located along the coast of the Bothnian Sea. With thousands of islands, skerries, and reefs this unique environment offers an unforgettable experience for everyone who loves nature, adventure, and peace. Because of the visible traces from the ice age, the archipelago is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We'll do trips according to your wishes, whether it's a few hours trip, a full-day exploration, or an over-night expedition. We will also have regular trips, where we serve our very appreciated salmon soup and coffee and some days we will take you to a selection of nice restaurants on the islands.

  • Capacity: Up to 12 guests
  • Safety: Full safety equipment, life jackets, first aid kit

The boat has a large pilot house where you can enjoy the scenery in any weather. It is also possible to dine in the pilot house, or in the saloon/galley area. For overnight trips, there is one separate cabin in the front where a whole small family can sleep, and a roomy separate cabin in the back with a double bed. The saloon table and sofa can also be turned into a double bed when needed. The skipper will sleep in the pilot house, so you will have your privacy.

On request, we can also tow a small dinghy, so you can explore the shallow waters, islands and beaches. This is also ideal for fishing, as you can get to the best spots where the big boat cannot go. The dinghy is filled with foam, so it is very safe and stable, and can also be used as a life raft in case of emergency. The dinghy can be rowed by two simultaneously and it also has a small outboard engine.

Presentation of your Host

Peter Skipper

I love to be on the sea and it has been a hobby all my life. I have a versatile professional background, as a seaman, IT professional and now taking care of AinaBnB.

My other interests are music and languages, so I can serve you in English, Swedish and Finnish, and a bit of Estonian, German and French. I try to stay in shape by working out at the gym and cycling.

As mentioned, I'm passionate about being out on the sea and out in the archipelago and now my dream is to share that passion with others through these cruises.
