About Us

AinaBnB is a personal and welcoming accommodation concept in the heart of Vaasa, where we aim to offer a warm and homely stay with a touch of nostalgia. Our ambition is to combine simplicity and charm with modern comfort, so every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Check‑in is smooth with a door code, and even though we are not on-site at all times, we are always reachable when needed. Whether you stay for one night or a longer period, we want it to be easy to feel at home with us.

Our place

Our main location is Residence Kappsäcken, a charming courtyard area with several wooden houses that together hold six unique apartments, including the standalone Bakery house. Here, an old-time atmosphere meets modern convenience, with air conditioning in all apartments on the main property and a peaceful courtyard perfect for relaxation. Breakfast buffet is served in the main building for the accommodations where it is included, and guests have free access to the sauna, bicycles, courtyard parking, and a summer terrace with a grill.

History

Residence Kappsäcken has its roots in Vaasa’s traditional wooden-house districts, where courtyards once formed small, self-contained worlds within the city. The preserved buildings and the calm inner yard create an atmosphere that reflects how life used to be here—simple, close, and cozy. AinaBnB was created from the desire to preserve this feeling while offering modern and comfortable accommodation. The combination of tradition, personal hospitality, and a central location has become a natural part of our identity and something we are proud to share with our guests.

Archipelago Cruises

Explore the beautiful Vaasa archipelago aboard the cosy motor-sailer Swetha. We offer tailor-made cruises for families and groups that give you a unique opportunity to enjoy maritime nature, fishing, photography, and adventure. Swetha is 11 meters (36 feet) long and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable cruise. Áll is designed for safety and comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

All our properties have fast Wifi, high-class TV sets (Bruno 2sets and Bakery 3sets) with streaming service (Netflix). All have an own bathroom with at least shower, lavoire and WC. The beds are of course made for all guests, there are towels etc. All, except the extern ap. Style have their own AC unit, the airconditioning works efficiently.

The central square is about two blocks away, the City Theatre is around the corner and the railway station is on 5 min walk distance.

We don't have a reception, you will get a door code and clear instructions. You can always call us when problems arise, the owner lives in the same house. The normal check-in time is from 3pm and check-out before 11am. But we are flexible and do our best to meet your needs, let us know what you wish.

There is free parking in our yard, there is place for at least one car per property (6) and there is also free parking on Asemakatu, next to us.a The car port is on the Ajurinkatu side (Ajurinkatu 15).

Yes, on request we put in a baby-cot, feeding chair etc. Our yard is secluded and safe and normally very calm. Do not hesitate to tell us your wishes.

Yes, we have a collection of different bicycles to lend. There is also a child seat och helmets.

Yes, there is a common sauna for the apartments Alma, Ada, Asta, Stella and Bruno. You book by writing on a whiteboard at the sauna door and you must switch it on yourself. In Bakery there is an own wood heated sauna and Style has an own electric one.

Breakfast in included for all bookings except for Bakery (separate house) and Style (external apartment). Bakery can book breakfast separately for 5€. It is served from 7:30am to 11am, on request also earlier. We usually have different breads, cheeses, ham and turkey, boiled eggs, juice, fruit, different youhurts and cereals. Often also something fresh in addition.

Pets are welcome to Bruno and Bakery. They are separate from the breakfast hall. Alma, Ada, Asta and Stella are adjacent to the dining area and thus we try to keep this area pet free.
